It’s that time of year to ‘get in gear’ for the 5th Annual Fort Bend County District Attorney’s “Bike Ride for Survivors,” scheduled for Saturday, October 18th, at Brazos River Park in Sugar Land.
The event features 20, 40, and 55-mile routes protected by law enforcement to ensure a smooth continuous ride from start to finish with zero traffic stops. The event also features a 1K Color Run for all ages.
Proceeds from the event benefit survivors of violent crimes and youth in Fort Bend County through the Fort Bend County Expose Excellence Youth Foundation.
Post ride event to celebrate a safer Fort Bend County.
Due to popular demand, we will have pickle juice available this year.
Patrol units at major intersections to keep everyone safe.
Directional signage along the ride to make sure everybody stays on the right path in addition to having the routes in Strava.
We have requested that our friends at TxDOT sweep FM 521 and other roadways for the ride.
FBC EMS will have a presence at the ride, but we hope they have a very quiet morning.
There will be a repair station at the start/finish line in addition to the hydration stations on the course.
